Main activities: 
  • Tidal flat walks in the Husum region
  • Junior Ranger: children between 7 and 12 years of age are trained to be Junior Rangers by means of special discovery tours during summer. The local Junior Ranger team meets all year through and is instructed by the National Park office and the conservancy organisations Schutzstation and WWF. The Junior Ranger programme is run by Europarc, head organisation of the German protected nature areas

  • Exhibition about the history and archeology of the North Sea coast, focussing on the Butjadingen region between Weser estuary and Jade bight
